Life Goes On

Well, Machinal has come to a close and my chaotic life of four hour long rehearsals everyday is no longer. Part of me is sad because I loved the show and my cast/crew, it was a very good group to be with in these past six weeks. However, I will be very glad to get back to my regular routine where I'll actually have time to do something other than rehearsal.  First off, the show went amazing! We had a few bumps in the road like people getting sick (a lot of people getting sick) and some on-stage mishaps, but overall it went flawlessly. This play, albeit dark, has such a powerful story that I was so glad to get to be involved with and get to share with our ONU community. Now that it's over, I will put it on the shelf of all my stage experiences and look on it fondly when I miss it.  Now onto our regularly s cheduled programming as a college student. Here We Go Again: Second Semester

I just completed my first week back at Ohio Northern University and let's just say, the start of my second semester hasn't been entirely graceful. I'm really glad to be back, but I think I got a little too used to being home and doing literally nothing all day. I've realized after this first week, that I have completely overloaded my schedule and it will probably only get worse. One thing I'm really excited about though is that I started rehearsals for the Spring play we're putting on in February! The only sucky thing about that is I'm in rehearsals from 6pm to 10pm almost everyday of the week (besides Sunday) so finding time to do school work should be super fun...full sarcasm.  An accurate depiction of me after the first week of classes and rehearsals: I am definitely Type A so my planner is obviously updated with everything going on in my life, which has been super helpful, but doesn't lessen the stress in any way.
