Thrift Til You Drop

These days clothing continues to get more and more expensive. Prices go up and quality goes down. We, as consumers, find it incredibly hard to find nice clothes for reasonable prices without breaking the bank. This is why I recommend thrifting wherever and whenever you can.  You can thrift basically anything from clothes, shoes and jewelry to furniture, decorations and even electronics. The main thing most people, including me, thrift is clothing. Thrift stores usually have racks on racks full of clothes that are under $10 that go completely overlooked because no one wants to take the time to find something they like. As a frequent thrifter, I can attest that it can be really hard to find clothes that not only fit you, but seem lightly used. However, if you have the time to browse a little I guarantee you'll find an outfit that you'll love that's never even been worn before. There are so many hidden gems squished between a top that looks like your grandmother's curtains...

The Marketplace of X

As a former X user, I had no idea they had a marketplace on the platform until I read about it in our Essentials of Social Media Marketing textbook. When I used X, I never even realized it was a strong contender for business promotion. However, I used it when it was still called Twitter and when it changed, I didn't even have it downloaded anymore. Looking on the platform, I found that there are lots of ways for businesses to use the marketplace on X to drive their sales up. The shopping feature on X is not just about pushing out content and getting sales; it also offers businesses valuable insights into customer behavior. Through observing engagement, clicks and replies, businesses can gain a better understanding of what resonates with their audience.
