A Trip To Disney!
This spring break is about to be the best yet! This year I am going home with a friend of mine to Florida! This is the first time I'll be going on a real vacation and I am beyond excited for it. There is so much we have planned: beach days, days filled with go-karting and laser tag, and so many restaurants. But what I am most excited for is the 2 day trip we'll be taking to Disney World! Our plan is to go to Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios and split each park on different days. I love roller coasters so I am absolutely thrilled to be going to a theme park filled with those and some of my favorite characters from my childhood.
Another new experience for me will be that this will be my first time going on a plane. My friends who I am going with tell me that the scariest part is taking off and that since it's only a 4 hour flight, it shouldn't be too bad. I don't think I'm really worried about the flight per say, especially because I''ll have my nose stuffed into a book I've been dying to read for the past three months. I am a little nervous about going through security at the airport though. I have heard many horror stories about TSA and I just don't want to be the one that holds up the line because I packed something I shouldn't have. I genuinely doubt anything crazy will happen, but there is a little irrational paranoia floating around in my brain.
Going with my two best friends is definitely going to be the highlight of this trip for me. They drive me crazy sometimes so spending a week with them is gonna be interesting, but I know I am going to have the most fun of my life on this vacation. They're letting me get the window seat on the plane so I can see the sky for the first time, which I will be taking tons of pictures of. I will also be seeing and swimming in the ocean for the first time ever!
Traveling is something I've wanted to do for a long time and this is just the beginning of it for me. At some point, I want to travel outside of the country and explore places like Japan, Italy, England and Mexico. That probably won't happen for a while, but you never know. I have thought about studying abroad in London and doing a program involving theatre, but I'm not sure if it's something I'll actually go for.
I am so excited for this trip and will take as many pictures as possible to post on here for the next time!
,Hello Makayla, your trip sounds amazing! I can feel your excitement through your words—Disney World, the beach, and the ocean for the first time! It’s so cool that you’ll get to experience all of this with your friends. Don’t stress too much about the flight or security; it’ll all work out, and soon you'll be enjoying the view from the window seat. I love that you're thinking about studying abroad too—London would be incredible for theatre.
